What is liability coverage insurance?
Liability insurance is the most standard car insurance, which only protects other drivers from bodily injury or property damage. In simpler words, it covers the vehicle you have damaged, but not yours.
What is full coverage insurance?
Although full coverage is more expensive, there is a lot that it covers. Unlike liability insurance, full coverage will cover the vehicle damage and yours, but a deductible is necessary.
What is SR22 Insurance?
Don’t know what an SR22 is, or don’t know what it means? An SR22 is usually either a court or state order, but you will always receive a notification stating that you are required to have one. Below are the reasons why you may be required to have this filing:
- DUI or DWI conviction
- Driving without insurance
- Driving with a suspended license
- Too many offenses, at-fault accidents, or violations
Being required to have an SR22 does not mean you have to own a vehicle and insure it as well. Thanks to our large selection of carriers, you can opt for a Non-Owners Policy while still meeting your state/court requirements.
A Non-Owners Policy does not require that you own a vehicle. If you borrow someone’s car on a regular basis and are not on their policy, a Non-Owners Policy would still have you covered. Although it does not offer comprehensive and collision, it does provide liability coverage if you are in an at-fault accident.
Do I need full coverage or liability?
If your vehicle is financed, you need full coverage insurance, however, if you own it outright, full coverage is not required.
What determines the cost of my policy?
Your driving record, age, and the year make and model of your vehicle.
Do I need a drivers license or state Id to get insured?
You do not need a driver’s license or state Id to get Auto Insurance.
